Barcelona fans have voted for their club’s best goals across the years, and the top three have all been scored by one man—Lionel Messi.

Messi’s strike against Getafe in the 2006/07 Copa del Rey semifinals picked up 45% of the vote, thus gaining official recognition as Barça’s best goal ever.

Messi’s effort against Athletic Bilbao in the 2014/15 Copa del Rey final picked up 28% of the vote, coming in second.

Finally, his 2010/11 goal against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium took 16%.

The fourth place was taken by Sergi Roberto’s last-minute goal against Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, which let Barça progress to the Champions League quarterfinals.

More than 500,000 votes were cast from more than 160 countries in Barça’s competition. Fans could pick from 63 goals—10 of which have been scored by Lionel Messi!
